# auth.md

Daily Diff has no public login or user accounts. Agents can read the site
immediately without registering anyone. This document explains public access;
the WorkOS auth.md registration protocol is not needed for this service.

## Audience and access

Search crawlers, AI assistants, training crawlers and feed readers may use the
public Daily Diff reading endpoints anonymously. No account, API key, bearer
token, OAuth scope, registration or provisioning is required or supported.

## Supported method

Anonymous HTTP GET and HEAD requests to public reader pages (including their
Markdown representations), /feed.json, /feed.md, /feed.xml and /feed.atom. Send no credentials. See /openapi.json and /llms.txt for parameters,
caching and polling guidance. There is no registration, claim or token endpoint.
Do not POST to /agent/auth. Administrative routes are for the operator only; their authentication does not
provide public agent accounts. Do not request operator credentials from readers.

OAuth Protected Resource and Authorization Server metadata are not published
because this public read-only service does not use OAuth.
